VOHA Education

Education is a new part of the ministry for Villages of Hope Africa. Born out of faith in a middle school group from Community Bible Church in San Antonio, Texas ( Answering a challenge by their Pastor to make a difference in the world, the group chose to build a school for the children and youth of Northern Uganda. VOHA was chosen by “elevate Uganda” to accomplish this dream. God revealed to VOHA that he had already made provision for this in the relationships established through VOHA’s work in Northern Uganda.

Today we are testifying to what only God can do in announcing the first multilevel partnership to bless the youth of Northern Uganda. VOHA has established an informal partnership between the villagers, district government, national government, and VOHA itself. We pray that the trust established in the relationship will be a model of what can happen when we all work together for the good.

Elevate Uganda, along with an elementary class of students at San Antonio Christian Schools is raising money to seed into a process that will include the village of Olee donating land and supplying local materials and labor for construction. The local government will represent the villagers before the district government. The district government will represent the school project before the National Government for adoption into the National Governments ongoing educational goals. VOHA will oversee the construction and funding of the first school buildings according to National specifications and standards. The National Government will complete the school under the National program and employ teachers for the benefit of the surrounding communities. Pray that what is established here will become a model for other ministries and communities across Uganda.
